Protein intake is essential for muscle growth, and amino acids are the building-blocks of muscle. There are 20 amino acids present in the body, an essential 9 of which, the body cannot create, so must come from the diet.
However, it can be difficult to obtain the correct amount of protein from food, which is where supplements come in. By using a protein supplement after a work-out, you provide your body enough protein to build and maintain the muscles used during exercise.
Consume 2-3 servings daily, ideally post-workout.
Mix 25g, which is approximately two level 25ml measures (there is a scoop included in the tub), with 175-225ml water or skimmed milk in a shaker or blender. These are, however, guidelines. More or less liquid can be added to taste.
Once mixed, consume immediately. For exact measurements, we advise using weighing scales, as the scoop measures in millilitres rather than grams.

The science behind it

The majority of the main ingredients in Instant Whey™ PRO are whey isolates which are 90% protein. Some brands include these but currently none use native whey isolate as a main ingredient: this is the ultimate A+ grade whey protein. Our Native Whey protein is obtained through a very specific process that differs from standard whey protein: the proteins are extracted directly from EU skimmed milk, using membrane technologies at a low temperature of just 10 degrees C. This state of the art low temperature process removes casein, fat and lactose to leave only the purest, most biologically active whey protein.
Reflex’s Instant Whey™ PRO also provides four types of friendly bacteria (Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium bifidum, Bacillus coagulans and Lactobacillus rhamnosus), providing a total of two billion gut-helping bacteria per 100g of product.
